Cuatro universidades del Reino Unido figuran en QS World University Rankings 2024 Top 10

Esta semana se publicaron las clasificaciones mundiales de universidades QS de 2024, con cuatro universidades del Reino Unido clasificadas entre las 10 mejores del mundo.

La Universidad de Cambridge mantuvo su posición como la segunda mejor universidad del mundo, mientras que la Universidad de Oxford subió una posición hasta el 3er. Imperial College London quedó en sexto lugar y University College London en noveno lugar.

Las clasificaciones QS se consideran las más respetadas de las diversas tablas de ligas internacionales. La metodología se basa en la reputación académica y del empleador, el tamaño de las clases, los resultados de la investigación y el personal internacional y el número de estudiantes. Para 2024, QS implementó su mayor mejora metodológica hasta la fecha, con la introducción de tres nuevas métricas: Sostenibilidad, Resultados de Empleo y Red Internacional de Investigación.

El fundador y presidente de QS, Nunzio Quacquarelli, dijo: “Si bien siempre hemos tratado de mantenernos consistentes en nuestra metodología, también debemos evolucionar para reflejar las misiones cambiantes de las universidades.
