Pre-Departure Event at British Council

SI-UK in association with British Council will host a pre-departure event at British Council on the 22nd of June for students with offers from UK institutions and universities for courses starting September 2019.

The event will help you prepare for a life in the UK and provide all necessary information on different aspects including arrivals, accommodations, pre-departure checklists, finances, insurance, travel plans, research and important contact lists. There will also be interactive sessions with the invited UK alumni to help students understand better about living and studying in the UK.

Some of the topics to be discussed at the pre-departure event are listed below:

  • student visas
  • travelling to the UK and local travel in the UK
  • your first few days in the UK
  • student welfare facilities at your institution
  • financial planning, student bank accounts
  • new mobile phone connections
  • cultural differences

Day and Date of the event - Saturday, 22nd June 2019

Registration Time: - 2:30 pm onwards

Networking Session: 5:15 pm onwards
